I was born in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in various states across the southern US.  Moving to New York's Hudson Valley region as a teenager I finally found a place that felt like home.
I live in a small town in the Catskills, which is perfect for me as I love the outdoors and winter camping.  I live with my wife and son as well as our three dogs and three cats.
Though I made a career in the tech world; both in IT management and network engineering, I have always had an interest in photography.  From developing film for my local newspaper when I was in highschool, to buying my first digital camera on my first cross-country roadtrip when I was 18.  Since then I've always had a camera close to hand.
I have spent several years photographing all kinds of events from youth sports and air shows to baptisms and red carpets, and quite a LOT of headshots.  If a picture is worth 1,000 words, a headshot tells the story of a person.
I think the photos I value most however are landscapes.  I've always been drawn to the outdoors and capturing places as I see them in my head.  To me a trip is worth it as long as I get that singular shot that reminds me of that place just how I saw it.
